Tova Olkinetzky, violin
Growing up in Norman, Oklahoma, Tova Olkinetzky developed a love of Baroque and early music and the authentic style of their performance. While studying violin and viola at the University of Oklahoma, she enjoyed playing regularly in the Collegium Musicum on period instruments and in period costumes. She continued this passion, playing professionally with the Texas Baroque ensemble and Go for Baroque. In addition, she has played with numerous chamber and orchestral groups including Lyric Theatre, the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Norman Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra, Tactus Chamber Orchestra and Vocal Ensemble, and the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. Tova teaches violin and viola at Norman School for Strings. She manages and plays in the Norman String Quartet, and in her free time, she enjoys dabbling in her hobbies of dance, origami, and photography.
